Think GREEN and offer hope through #almsgiving!

Think GREEN and offer hope through #almsgiving!

Forget the snow…Think GREEN!

Students enjoyed a no-uniform GREEN dress down day (for $1 or more) on FRIDAY, March 16th to get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit and give the gift of hope!  Together we were able to raise $320 as a part of our Lenten Almsgiving efforts which we will donate to the John Paul II Medical Research Institute.

The members of the NJHS are also assisting our students in the coming weeks to create cards for children in the hospital through the organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids.
We are excited to add “green” to their efforts.

Together we have given the gift of hope to the next generation…in sharing the positive messages of our children and in our financial support to organizations like this one that works to find a cure for rare and genetic diseases through ethical Adult Stem Cell Research.

Thank you, for your generosity!

Journey Closer to Christ in these 40 Days of LENT

We entered into the liturgical season of Lent with our tradition of the Burying of the Alleluia…a symbolic gesture of how the next 40 days should be different in our minds and hearts.

Join us this Lent as we strive to be more deliberate about our PRAYER, FASTING, and ALMSGIVING in these 40 days.  Click here for our Lenten Guide where we hope you find resources that could help you on your journey with your family.
