SVDP Food Collection–Practice the Corporal Works of Mercy like the Saints
Many great saints are celebrated in the month of November who are known for their generosity to the poor. We are asking our families to bring in an item that is needed to help stock the parish food pantry for care-packages which will be distributed by the Saint Francis Xavier parish St. Vincent DePaul (SVDP) Society to families in need.
Please refer to the list below for your child(ren)’s designated item and offer what you can.
Thank you, in advance, for your generosity and for helping us to create and sustain an attitude of gratitude and giving in the weeks ahead, as each class will also be praying for and sponsoring a SVDP family in need throughout Advent.
