November is the month in the Church dedicated to praying for all soul’s in purgatory. If you’re not able to join us during the day, SFX parish will celebrate Holy Mass for the intention of All Souls at 7pm. There will then be a candlelight procession to the Acushnet Cemetery at 7:30pm where we will pray prayers for the dead and then return to the church for Benediction, and conclude around 8pm. A plenary indulgence is granted to all who visit a cemetery and pray prayers for the dead on this day.
Also, throughout the month of November please submit your All Souls prayer intentions 2015 which we will add to our basket of remembrance.
Let us never forget our dearly departed!
