We are thrilled to host our first-ever Touch-a-Truck event! This exciting family day is expected to draw large crowds, and we can’t wait to see our community come together.

To make parking easier, shuttle buses will run from Pope Park and the Church throughout the event.

We are also excited to share that our Vendor Fair will now be held on the same day, bringing even more fun, shopping, and community spirit. With many vendors, sponsors, and activities planned, it’s shaping up to be a day full of excitement for all ages.

You can purchase tickets at the event. 

$5 per person; not to exceed $20 per family (Children Under 2 Free)

Cash and Venmo accepted.

Hello St. Francis Xavier School families! We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer with your families.

Just a few initial items to keep on your radar in these months for the first days of school.

---

• Review the Handbook in August: The updated 2025-2026 Parent/Student Handbook will be uploaded into the Family Portal Resource Documents for review in August.  We will notify families when the updated handbook is accessible.

• Complete Summer reading and work packets now: They can be brought on the first day of school:  Click the link here to be taken to that website page:  https://www.sfxacushnet.com/summer-packets/ and communicate any issues directly with the teacher.

• Review School supply lists now linked on our website for Preschool-Grade 8.
  • Parents may drop off the common/shared school supplies (paper towels, tissues, wipes, etc) to lighten the load for the first day of school.
    • Preschool parents should bring their supplies  to the Preschool Orientation.
    • K-8 parents should bring their supplies to the Meet-the-Teacher/Supply Drop-off night and can drop them off directly in the classroom.  Just be sure to clearly label supplies with the child’s name and grade.

• Assess Uniform/Spirit Wear/Swap Shop needs now:
  • Click here for information on the Uniform Requirements for 2025-2026, how to order from Donnelly’s, and to browse Spirit Wear options.
  • All preschool sections will be required to wear a uniform this year.
  • Gently used uniforms are available in the Swap Shop, which is accessible during summer office hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00-11:30am) Outside of those times, simply call ahead to ensure someone is in the office to let you in.

• Complete any Webform Updates/Edits now: Please go into your Webforms in the Family Portal to review and make any necessary edits to info BEFORE August 25th and be sure to hit the SAVE BUTTON if you make any changes. On Aug 26th the Webform access will be shut down and you will need to contact the school office directly with any changes you need to make to medical, demographic, emergency contact info.

• Synch your Calendar now: The 2025-2026 Year-at-a-glance Calendar can be found within the resource documents of your FACTS Family Portal. The Monthly Master Calendar can also be found within that Portal. Please save the dates/times that pertain to you.

Applications for the 2025-2026 school year (Preschool 3 and 4 year olds through Grade 8) will be made available online Feb 3rd to the public. 

• Please visit our admissions page if you wish to apply.

Please note:

• • Submission of the application does not guarantee or confirm enrollment into the school.
    • Parents of Preschoolers and rising Kindergarteners who submit applications for enrollment will be asked to take part in an interview and short student assessment prior to enrollment being finalized.
    • Parents of new students looking to enter Grade 1-8 who submit applications for enrollment will be asked to schedule an interview and make arrangements to have your child “spend-a-day”.
