Quality Family Memories!

We celebrated Mass as a school family, and then welcomed some honored and loved guests to our school for a grand celebration!

A fantastic time was had by all in attendance  Highlights from the event included munchkins, a photo opportunity, BINGO and dancing.

A HUGE thank you to Shannon Kearney, event chairperson, and all of the SEC helpers that set up, executed and cleaned up after a wonderful event for our grandparents!

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

It’s been great to see your sun-kissed faces as you drop off school supplies and pick up your Friday Folders!  Please click the following link for a detailed letter regarding the start of the 2018-19 school year:
Please note the following:
  • Due to the extreme temperatures for this week, students in grades K-8 may wear their GYM uniforms through Thursday.
  • All students should come in regular uniform (6-8 special occasion uniform) on Friday, Aug 31st, as we will be attending our opening school Mass.  It is also a half-day on Friday (11:30 dismissal for all students; no hot lunch; no after school Extended Care.)
  • Folders containing the required start-of-year paperwork should be completed and returned to school with your child on the first day.
  • We are also selling the school planners for students in Gr. 1-8 ($6 each) if you have not already picked your planner up.
  • Please be sure to send your child with a refillable water bottle to school each day.

Our website has many resources for parents.

Below are a few QUICK LINKS for some start of school “need-to-knows”:

  • The handbook can also be found linked on the forms and docs page of our website

  • Please review all school policies, but especially dress code and uniform requirements, as well as drop-off and pick-up procedures before the first day of school.
Refer to the School Calendar for all notable dates!
LOOKING FORWARD to a GREAT 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR!

St. Francis Xavier School has over time invested greatly in the development of its staff, renovation of its facilities, and enrichment of the breadth and quality of its programs. None of this would have been possible without the generous support of the St. Francis Xavier School family —  parishioners, alumni, alumni parents, current parents, grandparents, faculty and staff, and friends of SFX School.

We are so thankful for your support and assistance in providing a solid foundation on which to realize our dreams of future enhancements, growth, and development of our school and its programs. Help us spread the word so as to build upon that generosity!

Summer Fun at St. Francis 2018

Campers enjoyed another AFFORDABLE, ACADEMIC, ACTIVE and Faith-based Summer Program!

We were proud to offer our 3-week Summer Camp again in July for children Preschool age through Grade 6 (12 years old).  There were field trips to the movies, arts and crafts, guest presentations, group games, water games, science experiments, a Zumba lesson, and much more.

BIG THANKS go out to Mr. Martin, Miss “G” (Guerrouxo), Mr. Crowell, Mrs. Bodeau, and Mrs. Maldonado for sharing their time and talents with the kids.  We appreciate your support!
