A Season of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving
As we journey through this sacred season of Lent, we are invited to grow closer to God through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It is a time to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and renew our hearts in faith.
Our NJHS members have developed a variety of opportunities for all of us to participate in meaningful Lenten traditions.
We encourage you to join us in these special moments of prayer, fellowship, and service:
Father challenged all students to say a special prayer before bedtime:
Heavenly Father, hear my bedtime prayer.
For everything I enjoyed today, thank you.
For the kindness and help I received from others, thank you.
For the good choices I made today, thank you.
For the times I did something wrong, forgive me.
For the times I hurt others, forgive me
and help me to be better tomorrow.
Stay with me through the night, so I can wake up tomorrow ready to face the day with you by my side.

A night to remember for our K-5 students and their families…
Mrs. Girouard has been working hard with the students in K-5 to prepare for this annual event celebrating JESUS and all the joys He brings to our lives…The Reason for the Season!
Doors will open at 5:30pm.
Students should wear Christmas best and report to their classrooms by 5:45pm (no jeans please).
