Each class adopted a St. Vincent de Paul family-in-need to pray for during Advent. Prayers, cards of support and well wishes, as well as religious items were created and gathered as a Spiritual Bouquet to share with each family. As a school family we lifted up their difficult life situations to God as we awaited the coming of the Christ Child.
Students’ families showed an amazing outpouring of generosity, and we received almost $3,000 of donated gift cards of various amounts to grocery stores, pharmacies and convenience stores to assist these families in their day-to-day financial struggles.
Thank you so much for your prayers and for your generosity. We were truly able to make a huge difference in the lives of these struggling families as a school community.
